Most small businesses skip reels because the examples they see took a crew. The ones that work for local shops are simpler: one trend, one angle on your actual work, filmed on a phone in the gap between customers.
Pick trends that already fit what you do: a “describe us in one word” from your regulars, a before-and-after, a “what we do when the shop is closed”. Then reduce each to a shot list of three to five clips, 4–6 seconds each, and a caption that names your city.
Post it, then pin the best one to your Spotlight page so people who scan your code or find you from AI see it immediately. Momentum comes from frequency, not polish.
